At Woodloch Springs, we stress the fundamental skills found in all great players. Our staff of PGA Professionals, led by John Pillar, Director of Golf, tailor lessons to each individual based on body type, athletic ability and natural tendencies to provide you with a game that is easily repeatable and enjoyable for years to come. Whether you're looking to lower your score or just learn the basics; our staff will provide the specific skills that will give you a great game.
Private lessons are available and should be scheduled prior to your arrival. Instruction takes place at our 16-acre practice facility, located a short distance from the clubhouse. This state of the art teaching facility has a chipping and putting green, bunker, short game area, 1-acre bent grass primary tee and 2 private bent grass teaching tees. This amenity gives all golfers the opportunity to practice and improve their game.
John Pillar
John Pillar is the Director of Golf at The Country Club at Woodloch Springs, and has been with Woodloch Springs since its opening in 1992. John manages the entire 18-hole golf operation for the 438 acre residential golf community and resort property that is Woodloch Springs. John's number one responsibility is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction that is the Woodloch Tradition of Excellence.
One would think his hands are full, but John is also the District IV Director of the Philadelphia Section PGA (2003-2005), Club Relations Committee Member, Tournament Committee Member and on the Board of Directors for his prestigious organization. John is also President of the Pocono Professional Golf Series in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Jared Kubenik
Jared Kubenik is a 2003 Graduate of the Penn State University Professional Golf Management Program. His love for the game of golf and commitment to helping others are a perfect match with Woodloch. Jared is currently responsible for league operations, golf outings and instruction.
