When you mix the top-rated family resort in America with the best skiing in Pennsylvania, you’ll get the perfect combination for outdoor excitement and everlasting memories. People don’t always think of Pennsylvania when pondering their next skiing destination, but the Poconos Mountains offers an excellent slopeside experience, and Woodloch Resort is the perfect basecamp. Skiing in the Poconos is something every winter sports enthusiast should try, and we’re here to give you the inside scoop on how to maximize your time in one of the most overlooked ski areas in the nation. There’s no reason to limit yourself by staying at a ski resort when you can stay somewhere that offers various activities besides skiing. So let us show you why Woodloch is the best place to stay for a ski trip in the Poconos.
Poconos Mountains Ski Vacation Packages: Maximize Your Stay
Not only is Woodloch within proximity to Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain, but we also have an ongoing partnership with Big Bear that puts our guests at the forefront. Presenting a gamut of winter vacation specials—including ski & stay midweeks and discounted ski house rentals—Woodloch is well-prepared to give you and your family the Poconos skiing vacation that could very well turn into a new tradition. In addition to our vacation packages, we mentioned earlier that we have a wide range of winter activities back at the resort! From snow tubing to ice skating—we also have a four-season rink—the winter fun doesn’t have to be limited to skiing when you’re in the Poconos! Furthermore, we also have ski and spa getaway packages to add some relaxation to your winter retreat. There’s nothing quite like soaking in a hot tub after a day on the mountain.
Masthope Mountain and the Ski Club Program
One of the fascinating aspects of staying at Woodloch for a Poconos skiing vacation is our ski club program. The nationally accredited ski instructors at Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain offer their know-how on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays and run from 1–4 pm. Patrons will receive a Ski Club Progress report, the first step in becoming an honorary member. The ski club program includes a group lesson at Big Bear, a lift ticket, gear rental, membership card, and progress report. Private lessons are available for an additional charge, and the ski club is only available during non-holiday midweek days, making it the perfect supplement to a midweek reservation!
