Well, it happened. Against all odds in what has been a crazy NFL season, the New York Giants have secured a spot in Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots. Despite sitting on a 7-7 record at Week 15, the Giants have rallied and won 5 games in a row and will take a trip to Indianapolis on February 5th.

This is an exact rematch of Super Bowl XLII. In case you have forgotten (which I’m sure Mr. Tom Brady hasn’t), the last matchup was about as thrilling as they come. It ended with David Tyree making the most improbable of catches, and the 12-play, 83-yard drive was capped off by Plaxico Burress catching a game winning touchdown. The New England Patriots, who had won every single game to that point, were stunned 17-14. Eli Manning collected his first Super Bowl win and the MVP award to go along with it.

And this season, we find ourselves in very similar waters. New England was once again THE team to beat in the AFC, while the Giants got hot at just the right time. This game has all the makings of a classic.

So, why not spend it with us here at Woodloch? Every year since I started working here, they have provided a simply FANTASTIC venue and atmosphere for the biggest sporting event of the year.  Giants AND Patriots fans are welcome to join us in our warm family atmosphere for some real fun. Enter to win some incredible door prizes! Gametime brings an award winning buffet featuring all of your favorite football foods! And of course, we will be featuring the game on not one, not two, but THREE huge projection screens in our Nightclub. Great gridiron action, classic commercials, and of course, Madonna at halftime. Even if your team didn’t quite make it (my 49ers are heartbreakers) I have to admit that our Super Bowl parties have always been… super

On top of the game, booking your weekend stay will include Winter Olympics, snowtubing, Scavenger Hunt, Name That Tune, and all sorts of other fantastic family events. This rematch is shaping up to be quite the event, so DON’T MISS IT! I have only one question remaining…
