Woodloch Springs Course Guide: Hole 7
Hole 7 is once again proof of a short yardage course that plays mountainously long. This 492 yard par 5 will test your precision and accuracy. Once again teeing off over a water hazard, only this time blindly, onto a fairly steep downhill fairway. Be careful to avoid a leftward sand trap at about 220 yards. Once established on the fairway, one has one of two choices. Use a low iron to chip onto a landing area before chipping once again on to the green or you can use a high iron or wood to launch over the center landing area onto the green. The green is isolated on the other side, rolling from back to front, right to left, leaving the potential to roll off the green.
