The Traditional Woodloch Experience
American Plan:
We welcome you to our home. The American plan is part of your all-inclusive family resorts package and it's the traditional way to dine at Woodloch, where you’ll enjoy three delicious and abundant family style meals daily. It’s OK, you’re on vacation! Menu options are highlighted by our homemade bakery items and dessert selections. Your dining experience with us may be reminiscent of holiday gatherings or Sunday dinners growing up; founders Harry and Mary Kiesendahl wanted their guests to feel as if they were always right at home and that tradition will live on forever.
Pocono Dining: The Woodloch Way
Your evening begins as you enter the main dining room through our greeting line of staff members, managers and owners. Your kids will light up with excitement when they’re greeted by one of the many cartoon characters who live at the resort. During the busiest times of the year you may also have the option of enjoying your meals at the Inn. On our theme nights (Wednesdays and Saturdays or Wednesdays in the Summer), you’ll find the dining room has been transformed to represent this year’s theme and all the members of our greeting line are dressed to play the part. At the end of your meal our parade of characters will excite you for the upcoming theatrical performance in the Nightclub.
What is family style you ask?
All sides, as well as many entrées are served on platters to be passed around the table. This relaxed, interactive style of service is a signature of Woodloch’s “home away from home” adage.

Another package that may be available during peak times only is our American – two meal plan at the Inn. When this plan is available, you will enjoy a family style breakfast and have the luxury of ordering from our a la carte menu specially prepared by our talented chefs. On this package, you will be seated in the Lakeview Dining Room at the Inn.
The Non-Traditional Plan
If you’re not on our meal plan and you’re staying in one of our beautiful and spacious Pocono Resort Guest Homes, here are some dining options for you. Even though your guest home is fully furnished and fully equipped for you to enjoy meals on your own, you may want to step out for the evening or have a meal catered to your home.
The Grille Room
A great meal at any time. If you’re not on the American plan, you’re probably in need of a flexible option with great variety. The Grille Room features a wide range of American fare, from unique salads or the burger-of-the-day, to pizza and wings or twin beef tenderloin medallions. The atmosphere is casual and fun with a full bar and large flat-screen TVs prominently displaying the day’s games. When the weather is nice, sit outside under the awning and watch the golfers play through on the 9th hole. A great atmosphere for light dining and gathering of family and friends. The Grille Room offers take out and large catering orders if you just want to relax in your guest home.

The Vista and Terrace Dining Rooms
This dining area presents a more formal atmosphere in which to enjoy delicious offerings such as seafood, steaks, veal, pasta, fine wine, and delectable appetizers from our talented chefs. As the name states, enjoy beautiful views and summer sunsets over the 9th and 18th greens.
Other Options
Running late on arrival day? Just can’t leave the beach? Need an afternoon pick-me-up after working out? Woodloch offers many other options for those in between moments.
The North Lodge and Sports Bar at the main Pines resort offers fun snack foods like nachos, mini pizzas and cold sandwiches along with some bakery goods and coffee. Step inside the Sports Bar to relax, watch the game or catch up with some familiar faces (only 21 and older please).
The Country Store at the Inn offers a full service deli counter where you can have sandwiches and subs made to order along with deli salads or grab a cup of soup. They also offer fresh baked goods from the Woodloch Bakery, bottled drinks, chips and other snacks. In case you need milk or eggs, the Country Store has that covered too.
The Woodloch Beach, The Pool and The Sports Complex.
The Snack Bars across Woodloch offer casual snack foods and refreshing beverages. During the summer, the Beach Bar will have hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. All year round, you can get finger foods, hot dogs, mini pizzas, pretzels and nacho chips with cheese, energy drinks and vitamin-packed protein juice drinks or even mixed drinks and beer at the Pool and Sports Complex.
The Boathouse Restaurant is a Woodloch owned facility approximately 20 minutes away. Nestled along the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos, The Boathouse serves delicious American fare and seafood. With live entertainment on Friday nights, The Boathouse is a nice local spot to stop by on your way up to Woodloch for the weekend. All guests will be seated on a first come first serve basis, large parties are encouraged to call ahead.
Dinner Menu
Need to hit the road? Woodloch offers a boxed lunch to-go option for you on your day of departure. You can order your boxed lunch at the front desk which includes a choice of sandwich and bread, whole fruit, cookies and a bottled beverage of your choice.
Outside Meal Reservations
Visitors from the local community are welcome to join us for a meal. Please call our dining reservation line at 570-685-8002 and they will be happy to assist you. Wednesday and Saturday evenings feature our Theme Night dinner and Broadway-style show is included in the price of dinner.
Special Dietary Requests
The Woodloch Culinary Arts division is committed to offering options to accommodate our guests who require lifestyle dining options, as well as specific requests from those with food allergies or intolerances. Advance notice is strongly recommended and required in some instances. Woodloch will use reasonable efforts to prevent the introduction of the allergen of concern into the food through close attention during our sourcing, preparation and handling processes. However, it is ultimately always up to the guest to use his or her individual discretion to make an informed choice regarding whether to order any particular items. Woodloch cannot guarantee that allergens may not have been introduced during another stage of the food chain/service process – even inadvertently by us.
Woodloch can accommodate most food allergies and food intolerances, such as gluten or wheat, shellfish, soy, lactose or milk, peanuts, tree nuts, fish or eggs. We can also prepare options that meet the needs of our vegetarian patrons. Please contact our Special Diet extension, 570-685-8215, extension #6709 (SPEC) after you have completed your reservation. Multiple Allergies
If you have multiple allergies, please contact us before you finalize your trip to discuss your dietary needs, as we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet your requests. Please note that we do not have separate kitchens to prepare allergen free items nor separate dining areas for guests with allergies to dine.
