Pocono Dining: The Woodloch Way

Wholesome, Delicious, Abundant

The Traditional Woodloch Experience

Welcome to Woodloch’s Dining Experience!

Our traditional, family-style service was established in 1958 then founders Harry & Mary Kiesendahl wanted their guests to feel and be served as if they were company in their home.  This traditional style of service in our Main Dining Room has been unaltered through the years.  It is a unique style of service that creates a comfortable environment for you to enjoy time with your family, group of friends or significant other.

We have partnered with our vendors to provide the highest quality products prepared and served to you by our team in a warm, hospitable manner.   We are actively involved with several initiatives such as; “Greener Fields Together” – a national “seed to fork” program & “PA Preferred” which focuses on purchasing regionally grown products.

A specially chosen menu that changes daily will be featured on your table & offered to you verbally by your server.  Our menus feature homemade baked items from our in-house bakery.  Some of the entrees & side dishes are served on platters and our full American Plan allows you to enjoy as much food as you would like during each meal.

In addition to our traditional menu, we offer “Kids Eat Well at WL” options daily which provide wholesome items for to kids enjoy.  We also do our best to accommodate all special dietary needs.  If you have a special need, please contact the Front Desk or one of our Dining Room Managers at your earliest convenience.

American Plan:
We welcome you to our home.  The American plan is part of your all-inclusive family resorts package and it's the traditional way to dine at Woodloch, where you’ll enjoy three delicious and abundant family style meals daily.  It’s OK, you’re on vacation!  Menu options are highlighted by our homemade bakery items and dessert selections.  Your dining experience with us may be reminiscent of holiday gatherings or Sunday dinners growing up; founders Harry and Mary Kiesendahl wanted their guests to feel as if they were always right at home and that tradition will live on forever.

Pocono Dining: The Woodloch Way

Your evening begins as you enter the main dining room through our greeting line of staff members, managers and owners.  Your kids will light up with excitement when they’re greeted by one of the many cartoon characters who live at the resort.  During the busiest times of the year you may also have the option of enjoying your meals at the Inn.  On our theme nights (Wednesdays and Saturdays or Wednesdays in the Summer), you’ll find the dining room has been transformed to represent this year’s theme and all the members of our greeting line are dressed to play the part.  At the end of your meal our parade of characters will excite you for the upcoming theatrical performance in the Nightclub.

What is family style you ask?
All sides, as well as many entrées are served on platters to be passed around the table.  This relaxed, interactive style of service is a signature of Woodloch’s “home away from home” adage.
