Things to Do at Big Pocono State Park

Woodloch is nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains offering endless outdoor adventures for our guests. Big Pocono State Park is just over an hour from Woodloch and offers incredible hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife watching. Go for a Hike

There are eight miles of trails available for hiking at Big Pocono State Park. Most paths are rugged and steep since the park is on Camelback Mountain. If your family is up for the challenge, you will be rewarded with spectacular mountain views and local flora. Walk through forests as you look for wild blueberry, mountain laurel, and rhododendron on the trails.

Explore the Mountain Biking Trails

Embark on a bike ride in the mountains with the family! Mountain biking is available on the South Trail and North Lower Loop trails. Start on the South Trail, where you will bike steep terrain with a 600-foot elevation change. The route then connects to the North Trail Lower Loop, which offers a flatter and more leisurely ride.
