Staying at Woodloch or The Lodge at Woodloch, its sister property, there are two things you never have to worry about: becoming bored or going hungry. Both Poconos resorts are home to a wealth of adventure and delicious dining options. However, there’s more to discover when you get out and explore the Pocono Mountains region. During your stay or on your way to our Pennsylvania resort, stop by a Poconos brewery to enjoy delicious local brews.

5 Breweries in the Poconos to Visit

Craft beer enthusiasts will love the selection of local breweries known for pouring cold brews. Make the most out of your visit by downloading the Pocono Beverage Trail mobile passport, which can be used at participating businesses for possible discounts.

  1. Wallenpaupack Brewing Company in Hawley is a brewpub known for its handcrafted beer and food. Here, you can find a wide selection of award-winning beers, including ales, lagers, IPAs, and more.
  2. Before or after you visit Wallenpaupack, stop by Hopping Eagle Brewing Company. Located within the Hawley Silk Mill, this spot pours everything from stouts to ales. They are also known to have a great selection of seasonal options.
  3. Head to Honesdale to try Here & Now Brewing, which brews most of its beer on a seven-barrel steam system. There is also a one-barrel system where they experiment with more imaginative brews.
  4. Runaway Train Brewhouse & Saloon in Honesdale pays homage to the D&H Railroad and Irving Cliff, two iconic landmarks. The lineup of craft beers has something for all palates, including cream ales and double IPAs.
  5. Make your way to Milford to visit Log Tavern Brewery Co. Dedicated to creating high-quality craft beer, the tap list includes everything from sweet stout ales to IPAs or even hard cider.
