A Guide to 3 Local Pennsylvania Lakes

The Pocono Mountains region is home to breathtaking scenery, including picturesque lakes. During your next summer escape at our Pennsylvania resort, spend a day out on the water, soaking in the sunshine at one of these three spots.

Our resort is found on the shores of Lake Teedyuskung. The lake has roughly three miles of shoreline and can reach as deep as 30 feet. Explore the lake on one of our rowboats, kayaks, or sailboats. You can also go for a guided boat tour.
Another popular option is Lake Wallenpaupack, one of the state’s largest reservoirs. Measuring 13 miles long with 52 miles of shoreline, there is plenty of room to go water skiing, boating, and wakeboarding.
If you’re planning a visit to Promised Land State Park, be sure to spend time out on Promised Land Lake. The 422-acre Pennsylvania lake is ideal for fishing and an array of water activities. The state park is also home to the smaller Lower Lake, which is stocked with a variety of trout.

What to Do on a Poconos Summer Vacation

Day 1

How much you can do on your first day, depending on when you arrive. After checking in and dropping your bags off in your well-appointed room, enjoy a delicious meal in one of our three dining rooms. We recommend going to bed early this first night so you’re well-rested for a full day of fun.

Day 2
